March 15, 2011 Board Meeting Agenda Item #30 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #11-0021 FOR CONCRETE SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Concrete Services' were received from 11 vendors on February 17, 2011. The bids of McLeod Land Services, Inc., and Sarasota Superior Concrete were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of McLeod Land Services, Inc., and Sarasota Superior Concrete, to provide 'Concrete Services' in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
